Step 1 of 7
What this will do
Before anything is connected: what gets read, what never does, and what you get at the end of it.
- It reads your mail
- Subjects, senders, timings and message text, over the last 90 days. It is looking for the work that repeats — the question twenty customers ask, the chase nobody starts until somebody complains.
- It never writes
- Reading can never write. Nothing is sent, replied to, deleted or relabelled during the study, and no agent built afterwards sends anything without being asked first.
- You rule things out first
- Before any agent is built you name the mailboxes, senders and labels nothing may ever read. HR, legal, your accountant, a label called Personal.
- You get a page, not an agent
- At the end of it: who you deal with, what repeats and how often, how your desk writes, and three to five agents suggested with the evidence each one came from. Building any of them is a separate decision.
One provider for now, and one screen before it: Google’s own permission boxes arrive unticked, and the next screen says what to do about that before you are looking at them.
Set up Google ›Outlook and other providers are coming.
See it on a sample company. Meridian Freight is a made-up freight forwarding and customs clearance business in Mumbai with 11 people, 3 of them on the operations desk. You can run the whole study on its practice mailbox without signing up and without connecting anything, and see exactly the page you would get. See it on Meridian Freight.
